Coke Oven Gas Hydrogen Recovery Compressor Solution
- Customized for coke oven gas characteristics: complex composition (methane, carbon monoxide, dust), high humidity and variable hydrogen concentration.
- Adopts corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant components to adapt to harsh raw gas compression working conditions.
- Multi-stage compression and intercooling design solves severe temperature rise during hydrogen compression, ensuring stable and continuous operation.
- Realizes resource recycling, reduces waste gas emissions, and achieves dual goals of energy conservation, emission reduction and economic benefit improvement.
Case
Background & Significance
The hydrogen energy industrial base project ingeniously leverages coke oven gas – a by-product of the upstream 1.16 million-ton coal carbonization and comprehensive utilization project.Through a series of processes including compression, purification, decarbonization, and cryogenic separation, the project produces LNG/CNG products. Meanwhile, the hydrogen-rich gas generated during cryogenic separation is sent to the PSA hydrogen purification unit, enabling the production of industrial hydrogen and high-purity hydrogen products.
EPC Services & Supporting Facilities
We provide full EPC services and supporting equipment:
Phase I & Phase II EPC: Equipped with 8 sets of DZ22-1000 diaphragm compressor units.
Challenges & Customer Feedback
The project faced tight delivery timelines and heavy workloads. The Dongde project team was stationed on-site for over 100 days, remained on call 24/7, and often worked through the night. Their dedication earned high recognition from the client, who issued a formal letter of commendation.
